Article 19 of Regulation (EU) 2023/988 requires distance-sale offers to clearly display certain information, including the manufacturer and, when the manufacturer is not established in the Union, the responsible person in the EU.
Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/1960 defines the harmonised legal guarantee notice. It applies from 27 September 2026 and states that, for an online interface, the notice is to be displayed in colour (RGB) without editing its elements.
